Educational Aide - The Licking County ESC has an opening for an Educational Aide for the 2019-20 school year.  The successful candidate will be located at Stevenson Elementary in Heath and will provide support for students with social, emotional and behavioral needs.  Individuals will need to complete a BCI+I and FBI background check and be willing to obtain an Educational Aide Certificate from the Ohio Department of Education.  Interested individuals should email a letter of interest and resume to Dale Lewellen, Superintendent at [email protected].  

 

Pre-School Itinerant Intervention Specialist - The Licking County ESC has an opening for an Itinerant Preschool Intervention Specialist to work with preschool students in the Tri-Valley School District for the 2019-20 school year.  Must hold or be able to obtain an ODE issued Early Childhood Intervention Specialist License. (Acceptable alternatives would be a Pre-K- 3rd grade licensure with a supplemental Early Childhood IS licensure)  This teacher position will support the development of Individual Education plans for students with special education needs as well as support the implementation of these plans at the school/educational site level. Salary range based on experience and licensure. Elementary Autism Intervention Specialist - Licking County ESC has an opening for an Elementary Autism Intervention Specialist to work with the counties students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have an Intervention Specialist License or be able to obtain one.   The qualities we are searching for in a great candidate include: - An understanding of student learning and development and respect for the diversity of the students they teach, a thorough understanding of differentiation. - An understanding of all content areas - An understanding and ability to use varied assessments to inform instruction, evaluate and ensure student learning -Plan and deliver effective instruction that advances the learning of each individual student - Create learning environments that promote high levels of learning and achievement for all students - Strong behavior management skills - Collaborate and communicate with students, parents, other educators, administrators, and the community to support student learning - Assume responsibility for professional growth, performance, and involvement as an individual and as a member of a learning community   Interested and qualified individuals should submit their resume and three references to Christy Brock at [email protected] The position will be held open until the successful candidate is found. Intervention Specialist - We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to work with our ED department at Phoenix Central. Our students have emotional disabilities and require a sensitive and intuitive teacher. The successful candidate will work with small group of high need students. Applicant must hold a current Ohio Licensure as Intervention Specialist or have all the credentials to obtain one. CPI training is a plus but we will provide training if needed. Applicants should be self-motivated, team oriented and be willing to take instruction.
