Lakewood

Cook - Must have a high school diploma or training and experience that are considered equivalent.  Ability to communicate in a courteous manner and work well with others.  Proficiency in the preparation of large quantities of food, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, follow instructions, and work within a time schedule.  Will assist in the preparation and serving of food in an efficient and courteous manner, and assist in daily clean up and sanitizing of the cafeteria and equipment.  Interested and qualified candidates should provide a letter of interest and resume to Jen Stover, Director of Food Service, Lakewood Local SD, 525 E. Director of Facilities and Maintenance - Will supervise all district building and grounds maintenance staff and ensure optimal utilitzation of personnel and other resources. Will plan, organize and direct the maintenance, repair and alteration of all district buildings and grounds so that they are clean, tidy, safe and efficient.  Minimum of a high school diploma is required but post-secondary degree is preferred.  Training and experience in an area related to facilities management and/or the maintenance service industry is desired. The successful candidate will be offered a 260 day contract and salary as per the Exempt Employee Salary Schedule.  Interested and qualified candidates should send a resume' and cover letter to Patti Pickering, Director of District Services, P.O. Coordinator of STEP Program- We have an opening for someone with a business or educational background to oversee our Summer Teacher Extern Program.  This program allows a teacher to "STEP" into a business during the summer for one or two weeks, to help him/her understand the skillset/requirements of entry level employees in different places of employment in Licking County.  The experience proves valuable to both the teacher and the employer as they work together to make students better prepared to enter the workforce.  A stipend will be paid at the end of the program in late August.  Interested and qualified candidates should send a letter of interest to Dale Lewellen, Superintendent, at [email protected], at your earliest opportunity.
