Notification must be completed each year you intend to homeschool. Ideally this information should reach our office by the start of your residing district’s first day of school or upon moving into the district. In addition, if you have homeschooled the previous year, an assessment for each child must accompany your notification.
Once we have received your notification, it will be reviewed. If items are missing or incomplete, you will be contacted either by phone or mail and will be given the opportunity to resubmit any item found deficient. Written notification will be provided to you and the school district which your child resides in when notification materials are reviewed and an excuse from school attendance is given.
We request that you contact our office in the event your child is placed into private or public school or move from your district.
