Intervention Specialist - Licking County ESC is seeking a Multiple Disabilities Intervention Specialist to work with the counties students with disabilities for the 2021-22 school year. The ideal candidate will have an Intervention Specialist License Moderate to Intensive (preferred) or Mild/ Moderate. The qualities we are searching for in a great candidate include: an understanding of student learning and development and respect for the diversity of the students they teach, thorough understanding of differentiation, the ability to use varied assessments to inform instruction, evaluate and ensure student learning, strong behavior management skills and the ability to communicate with students, parents, other educators to support student learning. Salary will be based on experience and licensure.

Part-time Preschool Aide - The Licking County Educational Service Center has an opening for a part-time educational aide for Flying Colors Preschool to be located in our Utica Classroom for the 2021-22 school year.   Salary range will depend on experience.  Applicant must be willing to complete a BCI and FBI background check and obtain their Paraprofessional License through the Ohio Department of Education.  Interested individuals should send a letter of interest, along with a current resume to [email protected] or by mail to:  Deborah Pegher, Flying Colors Preschool, 119 Union Street, Newark, OH  43055.  This position will remain open until the successful candidate can be found.

Educational Aide - The Licking County ESC has an opening for an Educational Aide for the 2021-22 school year.  The successful candidate will be located at Garfield Elementary in Heath and will aide in student transition from preschool to kindergarten, assist autism students as well as provide support for student social, emotional and behavioral needs.  Individuals will need to complete a BCI+I and FBI background check and be willing to obtain an Educational Aide Certificate from the Ohio Department of Education.  Interested individuals should email a letter of interest and resume to Jennifer McComas, Director of Special Education at [email protected]

One-on-One Educational Aide – The Licking County ESC has an opening for educational aide for the 2021-22 school year.  The aide will be working one-on-one with a kindergarten student with specialized medical needs and will be located at Utica Elementary. Applicants should be team oriented, have a desire to learn new things and be being willing to take instruction.  The applicant must be willing to complete a BCI and FBI background check and hold an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education.   Interested individuals should e-mail a letter of interest with resume to Dale Lewellen, Licking County ESC Superintendent, at [email protected].  The position will remain open until a qualified applicant is found.

Preschool Itinerant Intervention Specialist - The Licking County ESC has an opening for an Itinerant Preschool Intervention Specialist to work with preschool students in the Tri-Valley School District for the 2021-22 school year.  Must hold or be able to obtain an ODE issued Early Childhood Intervention Specialist License. (Acceptable alternatives would be a Pre-K- 3rd grade licensure with a supplemental Early Childhood IS licensure)  This teacher position will support the development of Individual Education plans for students with special education needs as well as support the implementation of these plans at the school/educational site level. Salary range based on experience and licensure. Preschool Teacher - The Licking County ESC has an opening for an Preschool Teacher to work with general education preschool students in the Tri-Valley School District for the 2021-22 school year.  Must hold or be able to obtain an ODE issued Early Childhood License, grades PK-3.  Salary range based on experience and licensure. Applicants must be willing to complete a BCI and FBI background check and hold an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education.  Candidates should be team oriented, have a desire to learn new things and be willing to take instruction. Occupational Therapist  - The Licking County ESC is seeking a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Related Service Team!  Must have a current Ohio Licenses as well as an Ohio Educator License.   Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to organize necessary data and testing results for state and federal required regulations, strong writing skills as well as collaboration skills are essential.  School setting experience is not required but preferred.  Interested and qualified candidates should send a letter of interest and current resume to Rachel Gerber at [email protected].  Position will be opened until filled.
  
School Psychologist  - The Licking County ESC is seeking a part time school Psychologist to join our Related Service Team to serve Licking County School Districts.  Would consider full time employment if needed. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to organize necessary data and testing results for state and federal required regulations, strong writing skills as well as collaboration skills are essential.  Ohio Department of Education and Ohio State Board of Psychology license is required.
