Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) provide purposeful, meaningful therapeutic activity and interventions in order for a student to benefit from his or her special education program and be successful in the educational setting. Occupational Therapy services may address the following areas for a student to be successful in the educational setting:
